The Phomolong branch of St. Athanasius Orthodox Christian School is the headquarters and flagship campus of the institution, proudly serving as the foundation upon which the school has grown. Established in 1992 as Sabatha Pre-School/Creche, it was the first branch of the school and has since developed into a thriving combined school offering quality education from the early years through to the senior grades. Over more than three decades, the branch has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, disciplined learning, and holistic learner development.

Located in Phomolong, Tembisa, the branch remains the largest campus in the St. Athanasius family, serving hundreds of learners each year and employing a dedicated team of educators and support staff.
